COVID-10 Guidelines

Even though COVID-19 persists, Governor Wolf is lifting the restrictive measures he and state officials placed on gatherings earlier in December. Effective Monday, January 4, 2021, indoor gatherings will return to the earlier limit of 10% of maximum capacity of facility. Outdoor gatherings are permitted to return to 15% of maximum occupancy.

Religious gatherings continue to be exempt. “Churches, synagogues, temples, mosques, and other places of congregate worship are specifically excluded from the limitations established in section 9 (Requirements for Events and Gatherings) of the Order during religious services. These institutions are strongly encouraged to enforce physical distancing and other mitigation measures at their gatherings.”

Spence Funeral Services continues to monitor the impact of the pandemic and will make every attempt to care for the deceased and the needs of their families, work with churches and institutions to schedule and respect their requirements and protect the health and safety of our community.
