Elmer E. Huber, Jr., 95, of Manheim, PA, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, March 24, 2026 at UPMC Lititz. Born in Ephrata Twp., he was the son of the late Elmer S., Sr. and Elizabeth B. (Eshleman) Huber. He was the husband of Ruth A. Nauman Huber for 64 years prior to her passing in 2018.
Elmer served as a corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War. Prior to retiring in 2000, he was employed for 10 years by Manheim Specialty Machine. Previously, he was employed for 20 years by the former W.H. Noggle and Sons garment factory, also in Manheim. In addition to caring for his lawn, he and his wife enjoyed spending Sundays at Hershey Park for many years as season passholders. Elmer was dearly loved by his family and friends. He was known for his good-natured manner.
He is survived by one sister, Erma, wife of John Witmer, of Mount Joy; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Huber of Conestoga; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by six siblings, Mildred Pickel, Mark Huber, Galen Huber, Luella Myer, Pauline Good, and Earl Huber.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday morning, April 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, 746 Lebanon Road, Manheim, PA. There will be no public viewing. To express a condolence with the family or for additional information, visit www.spencefuneralservices.com.
