Obituary of Dale R. Bezzard

Dale R. Bezzard, 72, of Manheim, PA, completed his journey on earth on Friday evening, February 7, 2025 at his residence and has returned to Mother Earth.  He was the only child of the late Richard S. and Doris N. Miller Bezzard.  He was the husband of Carmen D. Sanchez Bezzard for 52 years on August 12.

Dale earned an associate degree in mechanical engineering at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.  He retired from Bond Machine and Fabrication in Manheim as a Purchasing Manager after 15 years.  Previously, he was employed for 33 years by Pennsylvania Scale in Lancaster and rose to president of the company.

Dale was a collector of pre-war Lionel O-gauge model trains and was a member of the Train Collectors Association.  He also collected 1/32 Slot cars and enjoyed racing the cars with friends on his home-built track.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jessica L. Bezzard of Maryland.
