A Prayer Warrior for Many!

 

Lois Fern Heisey, in her 100th year, entered peacefully into eternal rest May 3, 2025, at United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz. Born February 8, 1926, in Manheim, she was a daughter of Frank & Beatrice Haldeman. She was the beloved wife of J. Stanley Heisey for over 60 years until his passing in 2008.

 

“Fern” was an exceptional office worker for many years, and will be remembered as a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

 

She is survived by her loving family including her children, Terri Albright, wife of Edward, Mount Joy, and Deborah Werner, wife of Herbert Werner, Jr., Lititz; 4 grandchildren, Megan, Ian, Sarah, Jared; and 8 great-grandchildren, Adrianne, Jaimie, Brooklyn, Madeline, Jack, Ella, Dominic & Charley. She was preceded in death by husband J. Stanley Heisey, daughter Suzanne Cassel, great-grandchild Emily Nolt, and brothers Jay & Lloyd Haldeman. She is survived by a brother, Edgar Haldeman, Manheim, and a sister, Eileen Miller, Elizabethtown, also a son-in-law Dale Cassel, Lititz.

 

Fern loved to read her Bible and work in her bold-print word search books.
