Obituary of Donald W. Patrick

We remember Donald W. Patrick who departed this world on March 29, 2025, at the age of 87. Donald was born on December 12, 1937, to the late Irvin E. Patrick, Jr. and Florence Patrick of Hershey, PA.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife Gladys D. Patrick in September of 2006. He is survived by son Shawn Patrick, husband of Mary, daughter Connie Patrick and Ernie Brown; grandsons, Dylan and Gunnar Brown; sister, Nancy Hallman and brother, Thomas Patrick. Donald will also be missed by cousin Robert Hetrick, husband of Susan, as well as several family members and neighbors from Pat’s Hill in Hershey, PA.

The family wants to express sincere appreciation to all the staff and friends that Donald made at Country Meadows of Hershey. He was blessed to live in such a caring environment where he was loved and cared for by so many. We are eternally grateful for their help and compassion.

Donald leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. He walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone he encountered with an unforgettable grace. We were honored to have him as a caring, hard-working father who set a graceful example of how to live life.

The family will hold a celebration of Donald’s life on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Union Deposit United Methodist Church, 34 West Main Street. Hershey, PA 17003.
