Obituary of Mary A. Becker

Mary A. Becker, 88, of Elizabethtown, PA, formerly of Manheim, passed away on Saturday evening, August 30, 2025 at Masonic Health Care Center.  Our mother is resting in the arms of Jesus. Mary was the wife of John M. Becker who passed away in 2013. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Edna Pick Gutelius of Milton.

John and Mary met at the Lylebrook Indian Mission, New Mexico, while they served in Brethren Volunteer Service. They were married October 20, 1955. She was a member of East Fairview Church in Manheim.

Mary loved cooking for family and friends, playing cards, camping, going to auctions, traveling and tending their produce market stands and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Susanne, wife of Kevin Geib, Milford, DE, Kevin, husband of Angie Piro Becker, Wrightsville, and Sandra Becker of Manheim; three grandsons; six great grandchildren; and a brother James, husband of Rose Gutelius, Milton. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Gutelius.
