Obituary of Lester F. Shelley, Jr.

Lester F. Shelley, Jr., 88Lititz, PA formerly of Manheim, peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday morning, November 17, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital.  Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late Lester F., Sr. and Vera Stauffer Shelley. He was married to Patricia A. Williams Shelley for 68 years on September 7.

A member of White Oak Church in Manheim, he was employed as a farm laborer for 50 years by Kreider Farms until retiring in 2011.

He is survived by two sons, Glenn E., husband of Joann M. Martin Shelley, of Elizabethtown, and David L., husband of Freda Hawkins Shelley, of Manheim, two daughters, Cynthia L. Shelley of Manheim, and Cathleen D., wife of Samuel Miller, of Goshen, IN; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and a sister, Sandra L., wife of Richard A. Foster, Fayetteville, PA.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Shadrick Miller.

There will be no viewing. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment in Graybill Brethren Cemetery, Elm, PA. Arrangements by Spence Funeral Services, Manheim, PA.
