Obituary of Frank K. Gantz, Sr.

Frank K. Gantz, Sr., 82, of Manheim, PA, entered rest on Sunday morning, November 23, 2025 at Hamilton Arms Center in Lancaster.  Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late Jacob O. and Ella Kopp Gantz.  He was the husband of Brenda D. Steely Gantz.  They would have been married for 60 years on December 23.

Frank was a member of East Fairview Church in Manheim.  Prior to retiring, he was employed for 35 years by Wilbur Chocolate as a machine operator and retired as a dispatcher.  Earlier, he was employed by Roy Nauman Drywall, the former Howmet Aluminum, and Rohrer’s Quarry.  He also performed miscellaneous jobs for Donald and Janice Ruhl of Manheim.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by three children, Lisa A. Gantz of Manheim and her children David Williams and Melissa Hellinger; Frank K. Gantz, Jr. and his son Jason Gantz; and Tammy A. Gantz of Lititz and her children Elizabeth (Chandler) Hummel, Kathryn Eichelberger, and Lindsay Eberly.  He is also survived by a great granddaughter, Scarlett Williams.  In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by seven brothers and seven sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Brunnerville Methodist Cemetery, Pine Hill Road, Lititz.  There will be no viewing.  To express a condolence with the family or for additional information, visit www.spencefuneralservices,com.
