Obituary of Carol A. Boll

Carol A. Boll, 87, of Palmyra, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday evening, February 23, 2026 at Londonderry Village in Palmyra.  Born in Conemaugh Twp., Cambria County, she was the daughter of the late Orval A. and May B. (Auchinbaugh) Kaufman.  She was the loving wife of the late Rev. Paul H. Boll for 66 years prior to his passing in 2022.

Carol was an active member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren (COB).  In addition to being a support to her husband, she was employed as a secretary by the Bridgewater (VA) COB, the Annville COB, and the Atlantic Northeast COB District Office.  She also was employed in food service in the Bridgewater Elementary School, Shippensburg high School, and the former Lebanon Valley Brethren Home (now Londonderry Village).  Carol loved cooking and sewing.

She is survived by her son, P. Nevin Boll, husband of Joyce, of North Beach, MD.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah, wife of the late Hershel Raabe.   

There will be a memorial service on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Londonderry Village, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078. A private graveside service will be held at Spring Mount COB Cemetery, Warriors Mark, PA. Please omit flowers. If desired, contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund of Londonderry Village.
