Obituary of Keneen M. Iobst

Keneen M. Iobst, 82, of Lititz, PA, formerly of East Petersburg, passed peacefully at Brethren Village on Saturday morning, April 18, 2026. Born in Endicott, NY, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Edith G. (Nuttall) Brown. She was the wife of the late Russell D. Iobst for 43 years prior to his passing in 2008.

Keneen was a 1961 graduate of Union-Endicott High School and earned an associate’s degree in business from Broome Technical College. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lancaster where she served as co-chair of the deaconess board. Prior to retiring in 1995, Keneen was employed for six years by Brethren Village in Lancaster as an associate director of marketing. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, and traveling.

She is survived by a daughter, Laurie, wife of David A. Keller, MD of Hershey; a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Isherwood of Bangor, ME; five grandchildren, Eleanor Keller (Justin Wissler), Ethan Keller, MD (Elizabeth), and Margaret Lucas (Jacob), and Zoë Iobst and Lilah Iobst.; a great granddaughter, Charlotte Lucas; and a brother, Karl L. Brown (Maryalice) of Otego, NY. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael K. Iobst, and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Lucas.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon, April 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will follow in Westminister Presbyterian Cemetery. There will be no public viewing. The family will receive guests at Brethren Village Chapel on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. The family requests that flowers please be omitted. If desired, contributions may be made in her memory to either the general fund or the building fund of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 or to the Good Samaritan Fund of Brethren Village.
