Obituary of Sandra L. Grimm

Sandra L. Grimm, 71, of Ephrata, PA, formerly of Manheim, passed away on Friday evening, May 29, 2026 at her residence following a battle with cancer.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ray E. and Gloria F. (Shelly) Loercher.

Sandra was a 1973 graduate of Manheim Central High School and a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manheim.  In addition to being a homemaker, later in her life she was a children’s daycare provider for 15 years.  She enjoyed spending time on the beach at Wildwood and Cape May, NJ collecting sea glass and seashells.  Thrift shopping was another one of her favorite pastimes.

Surviving are two daughters, Addy R. Grimm of Ephrata and Erin K., wife of Bryan Bowser, of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Hailey Ditzler, Ian Bowser, and Samuel Bowser; and four siblings, Michael Loercher of Manheim, Dennis, husband of Holly Loercher, of Manheim, Andrew Loercher of Lancaster, and Patti Witmeyer of Manheim.  She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah Bowser.
