Obituary of Roy B. Sensenig

Roy B. Sensenig, 56, of Manheim, PA, passed away on Wednesday morning, August 1, 2018 at Bob Fryer and Family Inpatient Center of Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy following a brief illness. Born in Manheim, he was the son of Amos B. Sensenig of Manheim and the late Alta R. Burkholder Sensenig.
Roy was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and placed his trust in Him. He was very devoted to his 29-year career as a foreman and salesman at Precise Concrete in New Holland. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending time at his New York state hunting land. He particularly enjoyed archery hunting and wildlife photography. He was once featured in an archery competition on ESPN. Roy was a maverick poker player, and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys as well as old western films.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a son, Zane R. Sensenig of State College; six siblings, Irene S. Lefever of Mount Joy, Mabel B. Sensenig of Elizabethtown, Elvin B., husband of Bertha Sensenig, of Reinholds, Edward B. Sensenig, Norman B. Sensenig, and Larry B. Sensenig, all of Manheim. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis B. Sensenig and Earl B. Sensenig.
A funeral service will be held on Monday morning, August 6, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, PA. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive guests at a viewing at the church on Monday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
