“Pop” was a great father who morphed into a great friend as the years of my childhood faded. He was so encouraging of anything I put my mind to, and was an shining example of how to love your wife through both the good times and the challenging times. I regret that our paths thru life placed us far apart geographically, and sure wish we could’ve spent more time together. I’ll miss you terribly, Pop, but I’m so happy to know that your cancer is left far behind you and you’re with Mom again.

To one of the greatest men I know, my dad! I am so glad I was "your favorite daughter". You modeled for me what true, unconditional love looks like! And I know that you could not have done that unless you knew personally, what the unconditional love of Jesus looked like! You were an amazing father and SO MUCH FUN! I will miss your lame jokes and your tenor harmonies, and your silliness! I love you so much! Thanks for being my hero!

You were the best Dad ever. Thanks for being a role model to me Dad and showing me what it truly means to be a father and a husband even through the hard times. I am so happy for you to be back in the arms with mom worshipping God together. I will miss you but I know I'll see you again some day. Save a seat beside you Dad at the banquet table. It was truly a blessing walking beside you during your cancer. It was such a blessing to care for you. I love you Pop. Can't wait to see you again.
