Our love and prayers to you, Nico and your family as you celebrate Joanna’s rich and full Christian life, today. She was always a kind, patient, happy cousin who inspired me to forge through those buckets of fruits/vegetables that needed to prepped for canning or freezing. So many sweet memories of us cousins working under that “big shade tree” at Neff’s family home. Love to all! Kay and Phil Wilson

Your Mom was a special lady. One of my first remembrances when we started going to Paoli was being invited to a women's retreat at your home and feeling so welcomed. We have been praying for you all at church and will continue to do so. She is at rest and whole again. God bless you all and give you all comfort and strength in the days ahead. You all took wonderful care of her.

It is so difficult to say “Good Bye” to a precious cousin who was my model for homemaking with cooking & baking, working at market, being a Godly wife and mother & grandmother, tending to beautiful gardens, nurturing sour cherry trees…She was unbeatable in “Words with Friends” but always said it depended on the letters that you randomly got to play with! I knew better….Joanna was simply GOOD with words! I love this woman and will look forward to spending eternity with her at Jesus’ feet in worship of the Son who died willingly for our sins! It is this HOPE and FAITH that takes away any fear that the world tries to control us with! Joanna had that FAITH and HOPE and lived without fear to the very end of her life here on earth! While she suffered these last several months and weeks, I saw first hand the loyalty and love that her children and family had in Joanna’s care! They all took turns in daily care and a greater gift they could not have given this precious wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and mother-in-love! Her family was a model for all to follow…and her life was exemplary!

Mrs. Huacani graciously shared her home with me a handful of times while I was at college. I took this picture in their beautiful backyard. Their house was always peaceful and welcoming. I’m thankful for the time I had to get to know her.
