I now know that the "Brown Bobby's" were world famous. I remember Mary-Elizabeth baking them into the late hours of the night. My memories of Mary-Elizabeth are of her always being busy doing something....baking, cleaning, sweeping, smiling. She had the ever-present sparkle in her eye. Great to read of her lifetime achievement award for service, and giving. Love to all Merwin's during this time.

We will never forget Mary Elizabeth and her servant’s heart. One time that comes to mind is when we arrived at the weekend prayer retreat at St. Columba Episcopal Church in Inverness. She was the first person to greet us from the kitchen, smiling, and ready to serve (literally!). She was a blessing to all. Peace and comfort to your family as you lean into your beautiful memories. ❤️
