I never had the joy of a loving grandfather. Then I married into the Martin family and met "G Dad Z" (as he himself signed a note to us once) and I felt I got a second chance at a grandad. What a loss this is. One thing that is comforting is that he did live such a life for others. We saw this in the way he cared for all of us in a special way. G Dad Z, I loved you from the moment I met you. Thank you for giving me the love a girl needs from a grandpa. Even though I didn't get to spend as much time with you as I would have liked to, you touched my heart immediately and I'll never forget that. To you, may you rest in peace. I rejoice with you as you're with our Lord, never to suffer anymore. I love you, grandad.
