Obituary of Ruth E. Fedder

Ruth E. Fedder, 79, of Myerstown, PA, formerly of Lebanon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday afternoon, October 12, 2023, at Towne Centre at StoneRidge Retirement Living, of Myerstown. Born in Darby, Delaware Co., she was the daughter of the late Norman E. Krueger, Jr., and Kathryn (Gochenaur) Krueger. Ruth was the wife of the late Robert C. Gailey.

Ruth was a 1962 graduate of Henderson High School of West Chester. She later went on to complete her nurses training at the Coatesville Hospital School of Nursing where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. She spent her career as a nurse working with Geriatric patients. Ruth was an avid gardener, pet lover, and enjoyed spending time watching the birds on the feeders in her backyard. She also enjoyed singing with the women in her singing group. Most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her loving family.

Ruth is survived by her loving son, Christopher P. Fedder, husband of Carol, of Leola; two grandchildren, Rebecca L. Rittenhouse, and David J. Fedder, husband of Melody; seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; and two brothers, Norman Krueger, husband of Sandy, of Dallas, TX., and Terry Krueger, husband of Pam, of Christiana, PA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Craig L. Fedder and a grandson, Christopher P. Fedder Jr.

Services will be private. There will be no public viewing.
