Hearing of Paul's passing made me sad. I was a cashier at Giant where Paul was often my bagger. I called him " Sir" Paul, like Paul McCartney. Loved his stories and his welcoming smile. I made sure to get him a cupcake for his birthday. Always such a gentleman and so kind and hardworking. He will be missed.......Blessings to his family.

What a wonderful tribute to brother, Paul! Paul was such a energetic and gracious pillar, not only to the Chapel family, but also to PIE! We are so grateful that we could learn to know and work with Paul and Maryanna during those years we pastored at Marietta Community Chapel! What a legacy he leaves behind! Our prayers and condolences and blessings for the family not only now, but in the days ahead! Thanks for sharing streaming this service so that we could join in Virginia!

I remember many times hearing Paul sing in quartets including an evening in Atmore where they sang spirituals.He truly had a beautiful voice, and a kind heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was so sad to hear of Paul's passing. A really kind man. I met Paul when my parents and I ate many a meal at the Ridgeview Restaurant or enjoyed an ice cream waffle cone. Always ready with a smile and kind word. My sincerest condolences to his family on their loss.

I’ve known Paul for many years thru church and PIE……he will be missed along with his fun humor…..there’s only 2x when I’ll eat ice cream…..when I’m by myself and when I’m with other people!!!! Missed Paul at Giant lately. He was always a blessing there. Surprised to hear He has gone on to glory. Enjoyed singing in the community choir, especially when he was singing bass behind me. May God comfort Louise and family.
