Obituary of Sandra L. White

Sandra L. White, 77, of Manheim, PA passed away Tuesday evening, November 14, 2023, following a courageous battle with lymphoma. Born in Lancaster on September 14, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. Bedger and Dorothy Bedger. She was the wife of John P. White for 58 years.

Sandy was a 1964 graduate of Manheim Central High School. She enjoyed shopping, flowers, gardening, and going to many auctions to find treasures. Spending time with her family was her biggest joy in life, especially being a mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

In addition to her husband, John, Sandy is survived by two sons; Shawn P., husband of Beth White of Lititz, and Dennis P., husband of Susan White of Manheim; Three grandchildren, Hannah Weidle, wife of Seth, Drew White, and Katie White, and a great granddaughter Elsie Weidle. She is also survived by her step grandchildren, Lauren and Blake Wisniewski, and three step great granddaughters, Harlan Childs, Reagan Childs, and Waverly Wisniewski.

A visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday morning, November 21, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Manheim Brethren In Christ Church, 54 N. Penryn Rd., Manheim, PA 17545. Family and friends are encouraged to use the North Entrance to access the Chapel. There will be no public viewing. A private interment will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
