I told my mom I wanted to take lessons from "real" piano teacher, so she sent me to Mrs. Shull. I remember recitals in her living room and her kind and gentle demeanor. I'm so sorry that you've lost your mom.

Hello dear person down there, I see you cry, some hours, see the sadness, all the tears, That's why I would like to mention here and now, I took off my earthly garment, because I don't need it, here, at home, but still I am very close to you, always there in your heart. I truly count every stroke, believe me when I tell you only the one you don't miss, actually died too. And because you miss me in life, I am part of your soul, I am part of your being, I'll never leave you alone. Understand, I'm just at home, I didn't go away, no, just ahead, I went to where it once began, where we meet... someday. Now live, because there is nothing more beautiful, I loved life too, smile again... step by step, Just smile for me. Nothing and no one can separate us, not even what we call dying, death cannot drive away love, Because you love me, that's why I can stay. Now the wind blows gently through your hair, believe it was me I'm sitting on the ladder to heaven and keep loving you from up here ( Author Doreen Kirsche)
I am so sad and hug you from the other side of the world. Love, Regina

I am very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was always such a "bubbly" person and I have such wonderful memories of her from my childhood coming over to "play" with Nancy and then "play" as a piano student! She was also such a wonderful friend to my mother and gave her not only the gift of her companionship, but African violets, a special painting of her "favorite tree" at sunset, beautiful handmade note cards that mom refused to use because they were too beautiful and hand painted pictures. She also gifted me a set of paintings which I have treasured for years. I can still hear her laugh and see her warm smile. She was a beautiful person. Hugs to all of you. May all the wonderful memories stay alive in your hearts in the years ahead.

Gwyn, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful memories. We’re thrilled to hear that you are still enjoying her artwork. I love that your mom refused to use the note cards as I certainly can understand that since I feel the same way about her cards. Thanks again for your kind words. Susan
