Lori and Ken,
My sympathy to both of you. I saw Dale's obituary in the paper. It has been a long time since I saw him, but I have lots of good memories of times our families spent together. It's hard to lose a parent. Even as they age, you think they will be here forever. Treasure the memories that you have of him.

Vern and I worked together for many years at the Armstrong Lancaster Floor Plant. We also played a lot of rounds of Golf while working together in the Inspection Department as well. While returning from a business trip in Montreal he was involved in a serious auto accident caused by a careless driver. This accident caused a severe disability to Vern, but through determination he retuned to work and then retired from his position in Quality Assurance in the Inspection Department. Prayers for his family and may he rest in peace.
Ron Weaver - fellow retiree.

Dale was not related by blood, but he was the father that raised me. I was 5 years old when he entered my life and every significant memory from growing up - our family vacations, our many weekends spent at our cabins, holidays with family - he was there. I knew him as a very caring father and a doting "Poppop" to Quinn & Tessa, his grandchildren. He had a huge impact on my life and his loss has left a hole in my heart, but I am so grateful for the 40+ years of wonderful memories.
