Obituary of Paul B. Benner
Paul B. Benner, 92, of Manheim, PA, passed away on Sunday morning, November 3, 2024 at Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Community following a long illness. Born in Bird-in-Hand, he was the son of the late Floyd and Esther Landis Benner. He was the husband of Shirley A. Good Benner of Manheim.
After graduating from high school, Paul attended nurses’ training and worked as a nurse early in his life. He later spent many years employed as a drivers’ education instructor by Wilson’s Driving School in Lancaster. Paul enjoyed listening to blue grass music and playing guitar.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Michelle L., wife of the late Joseph L. Blazek, of Lititz; three grandsons, Ethan J., Connor P. and Evan M. Blazek; and a brother, Vernon L. Benner of Denver, PA. In addition to his parents and son-in-law, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Melvin L. Benner, Raymond L. Benner, Leroy L. Benner, Harold D. Benner, and Mildred M. Brackbill.
