Obituary of Terry P. Monaghan
Terry P. Monaghan, 76, of Manheim, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 21, 2024 after a period of declining health. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late William E. and Shirley Yetter Monaghan.
Following his graduation from Cedar Cliff High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserve. He was employed in the bottling and capping department at Kerr Glass in Lancaster for more than 30 years before retiring. He then worked in security for Manheim Auto Auction for seven additional years.
Terry was a motorcycle rider and Harley-Davidson enthusiast for most of his life. In addition to watching western movies, he enjoyed all sports, played shuffle alley, and bowled on local leagues.
He is survived by two children, Michael D., husband of Amy D. Boettger Monaghan, of Lititz and their children, Isaac and Ruby, and Amber E. Monaghan, fiancée of Drew Lund, of Lititz; a brother, Stephen L., husband of Phyllis Monaghan, of Pickerington, OH; and a sister-in-law, Connie Monaghan of Lancaster. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William E. Monaghan.
