Born in Carroll County, VA, he was the son of the late Virgil K. and Opal Gallimore Ogle. He was the husband of Marjory Urquhart Ogle for over 56 years. Kermit was a 1952 graduate of Manheim High School where he was a talented wrestler. During his senior year, he was undefeated in the regular season and competed in the PA State tournament. He served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army following the Korean War. He was employed for 20 years as office manager by the former J.U. Baker Trucking Co. in Landisville and then for 15 years by Manheim Auto Auction as a driver. He and his wife were charter members of the British-American Club in Lancaster. In addition to being an avid golfer, he enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Manheim bowling league. He and his wife enjoyed taking cruises and enjoyed their home that Kermit built in 1971. Most importantly was the love he had for his family. In addition to his wife, he is the loving father of Craig C., husband of Sheila N. The family will gather to celebrate Kermit's life in a private service. Please omit flowers.
