Obituary of Adam Lee Herr

Adam Lee Herr, 24, of Cornwall, PA, finished his earthly race on Saturday evening, December 7, 2013 at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia from injuries sustained in an accident. He is now in the arms of Jesus. Born in Hershey, he was the son of Dennis L. and Jeany M. Lauver Herr of Cornwall. Adam attended LCBC in Manheim, PA. He graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School in 2007 and earned a marketing degree from Shippensburg University in 2011. Adam was employed by Metro Bank in Lebanon, PA as a senior customer service representative. In addition to running marathons, he was a Phillies fan and enjoyed listening to music, especially the Beatles. He was also an adventurous gourmet. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three siblings, Aaron M. Herr of Mount Joy, PA, Ashley E. Herr of Cornwall, and Amber M. Herr of Cornwall, fiancée of Zach McGrothin, maternal grandparents, Paul E., Sr. and Mary Ann Lauver, of Mount Joy, and Robert L. and Ruthanne Herr of Hershey. He will also be sadly missed by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held TODAY, December 11, 2013 at 6:30 PM at Conewago Church of the Brethren, 7035 Schoolhouse Road, Hershey, PA with Pastor Scott Cooper, Sonja Waltman, and Jonathan McCarthy officiating. Interment will be private in Conewago Cemetery prior to the service. The family will receive guests at the church on Wednesday afternoon from 5 PM until the time of the service. The family requests that flowers please be omitted.
