Obituary of Tina M. Ortman

God received another angel, Tina M. Ortman, on Wednesday evening, May 21, 2014. Tina was 45 years old and passed into eternity at Hershey Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Naomi Rupp Ortman of Harrisburg, PA and the late Edwin Ortman. Tina was a 1987 graduate of Manheim Central High School. Prior to her illness, she was employed for eight years by Alfred Dunner at Tanger Outlets in Hershey, PA. Her joys in life were her sons, her cats, and spending time at the beach. She also enjoyed watching movies, solving puzzles of all types, and reading, especially Nora Roberts novels. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Seth L. Meckley and Brandon A. Meckley, both of Ephrata, PA; a grandson; and four sisters, Vickee, wife of Frank Mickolic, of Manheim, PA, Kim, wife of Randy Sweigart, of Manheim, Linda Long of Lebanon, PA, and Sandy, wife of Allen Snavely, of Manheim. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday afternoon, May27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 845 Laurel Hill Road, Columbia, PA with Rev. Timothy Carl Anderman officiating. There will be no viewing. Please omit flowers. If desired, contributions may be given to the funeral home to help defray costs.
