I learned so much from my mom through the years...love for reading and handcrafts, pride in a job well done, contentment in one's own company, strength and acceptance with a stiff upper lip, and she set a good example in her graciousness in moving back to PA after Dad's death. Missing her every day, hearing her voice in my ear so often and still thinking of her every time the phone rings. She felt she lived a full life. Hope she's at peace.

It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your loved one is up in heaven. The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. The Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. Isaiah 26:19; Psalm 37:29.

Karen and family, What a beautiful picture of your mom....made me smile and think of my mom. Hold her close to you with warm memories and share those with the girls so they will know her also. Thoughts and prayers to all. Love, Carla
