Arlene A. Campbell, 82, of Manheim, PA, formerly of Reading, died Wednesday morning, August 19, 2015 at Conestoga View Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lancaster. Born in Reading, she was one of 10 children born to the late Ammon K. and Lottie M. Heffner Bieber. She was the wife of the late Gary H. Campbell for 55 years before his passing in 2009.
A homemaker, Mrs. Campbell was confirmed in the Lutheran faith and recently attended Lancaster Evangelical Free Church in Lititz. She was a 1951 graduate of Reading High School. In addition to sewing and quilting, she enjoyed buying, selling, and collecting antiques. She and her husband also enjoyed buying and remodeling older homes.
She is survived by three children, Gary G., husband of Debra Baker Campbell, of Manheim, Christy L., wife of H. William Bowditch, Jr., of Charlotte, NC, and James C. Campbell, of Manheim; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be private. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery in Manheim. The family requests that flowers please be omitted.
