Obituary of Annamae G. Bashore

Annamae G. Bashore, 77, of Lebanon, PA, went peacefully home to heaven on Wednesday morning, December 9, 2015 at her residence. Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Maeanna Merkey Miller. She and her husband, Lee R. Bashore, would have been married for 49 years on December 24. Annamae was a member of Lebanon Church of the Brethren where she was active with the women's fellowship and the Keenagers adult group. She also enjoyed being involved with the Northern Lebanon Senior Center in Jonestown. Prior to retiring in 2000, Annamae was employed as a production worker by Hershey Foods for 37 years. Earlier, she was employed by the former H.O. Stansbury in Lebanon. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the Outer Banks, Dollywood, and Nashville. In addition to solving word puzzles, she took pleasure in crocheting items and giving them to newborns. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Cathy L., wife of John E. Gable, of Lebanon; two step sons, Robert L. Bashore of Shillington and Lee R.,, Jr., husband of Sharon Bashore, of Swedesboro, NJ; and three grandchildren, Quentin, Molly, and Caleb Gable. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Terry L. Bashore; and two siblings, Nancy L. Yost Neal and Delmar L. Miller. A funeral service will be held on Friday morning, December 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Lebanon Church of the Brethren, 400 Locust Street, Lebanon, PA 17042 with Pastor Ronald E. Ludwick officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf's Union Meetinghouse Cemetery, Jonestown. The family will receive guests at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
