Obituary of Dana E. Brown

Dana E. Brown, 65, of Manheim, PA, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, at the Bob Fryer and Family Inpatient Center of Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth E. and Mary H. Springfield Brown.
After Dana graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School in 1970, he enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country during the Vietnam War. He spent his career as a construction worker.
He is survived by nine siblings, Kenneth E. Brown, Jr. of Denver, PA, R. Ray Brown of Chester, Mary A. Sims, Ruth L. Weaver, Thomas R. Brown, Missy Gebhard, June D. Moyer, and Debra E. Dupler, all of Manheim, and Joyce J. Landis of Reinholds.
The family would like to thank their sister, June, for her thoughtfulness and kind heart in taking care of Dana these last years.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at 11:30 AM at Hope Episcopal Church, 2425 Mountain Road, Manheim, with Rev. Tim Small as celebrant. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. There will be no viewing. The family will receive guests on Tuesday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
