Obituary of Jamie L. Krimes

Jamie L. Krimes, 57, of Mount Joy, PA, formerly of Ephrata, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 20, 2017 at Bob Fryer & Family Inpatient Center of Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy following an 18 month illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Walter P. Krimes of Tallahassee, FL and Beverly J. Mohler Krimes of Crawfordville, IL. He was the husband of Mary Lou Blantz Krimes for eight years on September 23.
Jamie was a baptized believer in Jesus Christ. He was employed as a roofer by Randy's Roofing for 18 years. He and Mary Lou had fun camping at Pequea, fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, visiting Florida, and spending time around a bonfire.
He is also survived by six step children, Richard C. (Kirsten) Tome, Jr. of Manheim, Christopher M. (Bryanna) Tome of Middletown, James R. Markley, Jack D. (Heather) Markley, Jonathan H. (Amy) Markley, and Bobby R. Markley, all of Manheim; nine step grandchildren; and three siblings, Brent J. Krimes of Crawfordville, W. Garet Krimes of Bloomington, IL, and Molly J. (Chris) Robinson of Roanoke, AL; and two nephews, Dominic and Rylan.
A gathering to celebrate Jamie's life will be held Saturday, May 6, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Elstonville Sportsmen's Association located at 3133 Pinch Road, Manheim.
