Dorothy L. Weaver, 97, of Manheim, PA, passed on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Bob Fryer and Family Inpatient Center of Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Ervin W. and Verna E. Crawford Miller. She was the wife of the late Ira G. Weaver who passed in 1965.
A loving mother and dedicated homemaker, Dorothy was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Manheim. She was a member of the first graduating class of McCaskey High School in Lancaster. In addition to being an avid Elvis Presley fan and solving crossword puzzles, she enjoyed dancing to Big Band music.
She is survived by three children, Gary E., husband of Christine B. Dyer Weaver, Bonnie V., wife of Lonnie D. Graybeal, and Daryl D., husband of Darlene F. Sweigart Weaver, all of Manheim; five grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jill C. Weaver, and four siblings.
Private interment will be in Riverview Burial Park in Lancaster. There is no public viewing. Please omit flowers.
