Obituary of Lucille F. Bretz

Lucille F. Bretz, 84, of 101 West Richland Avenue, Apt. 412, Myerstown, PA, formerly of Lebanon and Manheim, PA, died, Friday evening, October 2, 2009 at ECC Retirement Village in Myerstown following a lengthy illness. Born in Lebanon County, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Daisy Wagner Feeman. She was the wife of Kenneth R, Bretz for 61 years. Mrs. Bretz was employed by the former Raybestos Company in Manheim for 15 years. She was also employed as an open house hostess by Witman Auctioneers, Inc. for more than 20 years. Previously, she was an assembler for the former Marco Electrical Company in Womelsdorf, PA. In addition to enjoying traveling, she had a fascination with hot air balloons and supported the annual Make-A-Wish Foundation truck convoy. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Frances M. "Peggy" Winter, Dennis A., husband of Linda Crone Bretz, and Larry D., husband of Janet Poliwaski Bretz, all of Lebanon, Cindy A., wife of Michael Ditzler, of Richland, PA, and Lisa A., wife of Richard Witmer, of Ephrata, PA; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth, husband of Nancy Feeman, of Willow Street, PA, and Carl, husband of Mary Feeman, of Jonestown, PA; and a sister, Joanne, wife of Walter Cooper, of Allentown, PA. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joanne "Susie" Mahaffey, six brothers, and three sisters. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
