Sharon L. Gartside, 42, of Manheim, PA, started eternity with her Father in heaven on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 with her family by her side. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Joseph S. and Joyce A. Fahnestock Hottenstein. She was the loving wife of Matthew W. Gartside to whom she was married for 24 years on February 6. Sharon was a devoted member of Community Bible Church in Marietta where she helped to orchestrate VBS and Sunday school. She took pride in homeschooling both of her children and teaching geography and photography at their local homeschool co-op. Not only was Sharon a loving wife and mother, she was a best friend. Gartside, wife of Victor Gibson, and Hunter W. Gartside; and two siblings, April, wife of Kevin Reynolds, and Justin, husband of Melanie Hottenstein; and parents in-law, David and Victoria Garber. A memorial service will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 25, 2018 at 3PM at Community Bible Church, 331 Anderson Ferry Road, Marietta, PA 17547. Private interment was in Bossler Mennonite Cemetery in Elizabethtown. The family will greet guests during a reception at the church immediately following the service.
