Obituary of Charles L. Kline

Charles L. Kline, Jr., 96, of Hummelstown, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday morning, March 31, 2018 following a brief illness. Born in Lewisburg, he was the only child of the late Charles L., Sr. and Mary M. Fisher Kline. He was the husband of Evelyn M. Koller Kline for 69 years prior to her passing in 2012. Mr. Kline committed himself to a lifetime of service to Grace Bible Fellowship in Harrisburg where he was an elder and financial secretary. He was also the treasurer for Child Evangelism Fellowship of Dauphin County for 18 years. Prior to retiring, he was employed as a car inspector by Pennsylvania Railroad for 41 years. He lived out his servant's heart by helping others continually. He enjoyed woodworking and crafted beautiful things. He is survived by five children, Janet M., wife of Larry L. Zell, of Hummelstown, Joan L., wife of Jim E. Sunday, of Camp Hill, Judy A. Messick Stoak of Loysville, John C., husband of Stacy Smith Kline of Felton, DE, and James E., husband of Karen Marshall Kline, of Camp Hill; 15 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and two great great granddaughters. A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Grace Bible Fellowship, 1250 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112 with Pastor Joshua Miller and Pastor Steven DelDuco officiating. Interment will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. The family will receive guests at a viewing at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
