John M. Lefever, 92, formerly of Buck, PA, departed this world and entered into the glorious presence of his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Friday morning, April 27, 2018 at Landis Homes. John was born on April 18, 1926 to the late Martin and Elizabeth Gerlach Lefever. He was married to Nora Hershey Lefever for 66 years on November 28. John was a farmer all of his life and owned and operated a dairy farm at the Buck. John was a member of Strasburg Mennonite Church and previous member of Mechanic Grove Mennonite Church.
John is also survived by four children, Jean Sullenberger, Lois (Vernon) Umble, Fred Lefever, and Kaye (Donald) Eby all of Lancaster County; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and five siblings, Kathleen Brandt, Arlene Eshelman, Ruth Simpson, Gladys (Irvin) Sensenig, and Grace Houser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings, Ernest Lefever, Leon Lefever, Martin Lefever, Clair Lefever, Edith Hess, and Fannie Lefever.
