Obituary of Harold M. Nissley

Harold M. Nissley, 91, of Annville, PA, formerly of Campbelltown, went home to be with his Lord and his beloved wife on Wednesday evening, January 23, 2019 at Countryside Christian Community in Annville. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Abram K. and Elva M. Martin Nissley. He was the wife of the late Erma M. Zellers Nissley who died in 2011.
Harold was a member of Chiques Church of the Brethren in Manheim. Prior to retiring in 1986, he was employed for 30 years as a truck driver by Hess Trucking Company in Harrisburg. During his retirement, he was a driver for Brightbill Bus Company in Lebanon for 10 years.
He is survived by three daughters, Linda, wife of John Hollopeter, of Manheim, Lois, wife of Kent Vannoy, of Longs, SC, and Eileen Baxter of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jay Nissley.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim. All are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the church immediately following the service. Interment will follow lunch in Pleasant View Cemetery, Manheim. The family will receive guests at a viewing at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. The family requests that flowers please be omitted.
