I had the privilege of working with Cindy from 1983 to '92 in the Critical Care Unit @ HMC. She was a tough as nails and as just as compassionate when it came to taking care of and advocating for those under her care. Although she was much younger than I, she taught me a few things and it was to my professional benefit. I just recently learned of this profound loss and It was a great shock to hear of her sudden passing, but I know she did live loving every day. I hope that you can take comfort in knowing I, like so many of her colleagues, thought so highly of her and will miss her. With much sympathy to you, her family. Peg Moran

I am sending along my condolences to Cindy's husband and family. It was quite a shock to learn of her passing. Cindy was one of a kind. She always had a smile and an upbeat attitude. She was one of the most knowledgeable and caring nurses I had the privledge to work with. Her sense of humor, her heart of gold and dedication made her the perfect mentor for new nurses. Cindy, you will not be forgotten. You will on in our memories. May be God keep you close to His Heart, Kathy Weiss

Dear George and the Erb Family, I had worked with Cindy for 18 years while I was in SICU and we became and stayed friends longer than that. She was a great person to work with, shop with, go out to lunch with, and be with. She took care of her friends when they needed help. She will be sorely missed as a nurse, as a friend, and for you as a relative. Thank you for sharing her with us and thank you Cindy for everything. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family at this time.
