Obituary of Daniel J. Brown

Daniel J. Brown, 26, of 117 College Avenue, Mountville, PA, formerly of West Palm Beach, FL, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, March 6, 2010, at his residence. Born in West Palm Beach, he was the son of Kevin D. and Julie K. Stehman Brown of Lantana, FL. Dan attended Donegal High School in Mount Joy, PA and Santa Luces High School in Lantana. Dan had learned the carpentry trade and took pride in his work. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in God's beautiful creation, fishing, paintball, playing guitar and listening to music. Dan had a fascination for the beauty of the sky, clouds, and stars. He will always be fondly remembered as caring and easy-going and he loved to make people laugh. He was loved very much by his family and others who knew him. We will miss him, but only until we're with him again. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Corey, husband of Erin Brown, of Middleburg, FL, and David Brown of Lantana; a nephew, Logan Brown; paternal grandparents, Paul and Glenna (Lawson) Conner, Ocala, FL, maternal grandparents, James and Fern (Galbreath) Orwick, Waynesville, NC, maternal grandmother, Verna Mae (Herr) Stehman of Manheim, PA, and paternal grandparents, David and Lillian (Monroe) Brown of Warner Robbins, GA; aunt and uncle, Jean and Alan Daniels of Intercourse, PA; and special friends, Scott and Linda Felton of Mount Joy, PA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John B. Stehman. A celebration of Dan's life will be held on Saturday afternoon, April 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Maranatha Bible Church, 900 South Broadway, Lantana, FL, with Pastors Norman C. Speier and Thomas A. Murray officiating. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Arrangements by Spence Funeral Services, Manheim, PA.
