Obituary of Gerald E. Fellenbaum

Gerald E. Fellenbaum, 80, of 536 Brookshire Avenue, Manheim, PA, formerly of 676 West High Street, Manheim, died Saturday evening, June 26, 2010, at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lititz, PA. Born In Hummelstown, PA, he was the son of the late Lloyd Fellenbaum and Leota Gardner Fellenbaum McPherson. He was the husband of Nancy L. Weaver Fellenbaum for 58 years on August 25, 2009. Prior to retiring in 1995, Gerald was a machinist for Eastern Drillers in Columbia, PA, formerly in Lancaster. He also worked at Sauder Machine Shop in Salunga, PA. Gerald was a member of the Elstonville Sportsmen Association and was a member of the Manheim Fire Police for 23 years. He also volunteered with the Manheim Ambulance Association. He enjoyed hunting and watching NASCAR. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Linda K. Klase, of Lititz; Brenda L. Pehlman of Mooresville, NC; and Donna J., wife of James N. Leaman of East Petersburg, PA; two grandchildren, Jennifer L. and Matthew J. Leaman; a brother Robert, husband of Naomi Rowe, of Jessup, MD; and a sister Arlene Wonn of Norristown, PA. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Fellenbaum and William Rowe. Family and guests are invited to attend a funeral service at East Fairview Church of the Brethren, 1187 Fairview Road, Manheim, PA on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive guests at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
