Judy and family, I still remember you in prayer and especially on special occasions, such as the upcoming Valentines Day. I know you must still miss your "valentine" but I'm so happy that Jesus is your one and only love forever! Wish I could see you but no chance soon...unless you're coming to Ft. Lauderdale. It's nice and warm down here!!!!! You could stay with us!! Love you and miss you. Especially miss Bill. :(

Bill looks super in this picture. That's how we'll remember him. With that joyous smile, he may have just used all 7 letters in Scrabble, told his Norman Einstein joke, or just given a free Thanksgiving dinner to a needy family. We'll miss you, Bill God bless...........Art & Mim

Pauline, we hear of death occurring every day ... still, when it happens to someone close to us, it seems we're never quite prepared for the impact of it all. I've come to realize that in large part it's because we were never created to die. Despite knowing that it is inevitable, we're never quite able to negotiate it emotionally. It's just difficult to say goodbye to our loved ones. Nevertheless, we can find comfort in knowing that their suffering is past and that ultimately because of our salvation, we will see them again. Take comfort in knowing that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What joy there is to know that in Christ ... we never die ... we simply transition from time into eternity. Be encouraged!

Pauline my heart goes out to you and your family at this time of loss. No matter what the circumstances losing a loved one is very hard. This week alone I have lost a first cousin, a neighbor, and a fellow Sister in Christ and they have all been hard. Please know that the God who loves us more than we can imagine is there with you during this time and He knows exactly what you need to get through. HE really does carry us through these difficult times. God Bless and keep you and know that you are in our prayers. Tom and Patti Harris

Dear Al, Pauline and Family, We want to express our sorrow over the ending of your fellowship with your brother on this side. However, we rejoice with you that a day will come when you will be reunited with him forever in Heaven. Truly precious in the sight of our Lord is the death of His saints. Bill is enjoying what we can only anticipate at this time. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bring strength and comfort to you and your family. Looking forward to that blessed hope, William and Paula Harris

I haven't seen my cousin Bill for a very long time and was sorry to hear of his passing. I know his family and friends have a strong faith and that they know he is in a better place but it's still hard losing someone you love. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Joyce

Dear, Dear Judith and family, How very sorry we are to hear of the loss of your Bill. We cannot express how very much the friendship we had with both of you always meant to us and how very much we missed those Thursday night meetings at your house and the other times we spent together. They were so much fun as well as a sense of warmth, fellowship and the wonderful hospitality we always experienced when we were together. We are happy Bill is no longer in pain but know you will have the pain and sorrow that always follows such a tremendous sense of loss. You may be sure of our love, prayers and thoughts of you as you go through such a difficult time. We loved Bill and you dearly and that will never change. Our heartfelt sympathy is with you and the family he loved so dearly, Everett & Kathleen Rains

Billie: My best memory of Bill is his humor and his generosity to others. I think he always cared about those who struggled and tried to help. He loved a good church service with preaching and music to thrill his soul. Somehow the world feels a little empty because he's not here. I know there is celebration in heaven and lots of singing right now though. Randall: Bill was always willing to help others and I remember helping to move several people to their new homes. I enjoyed his stories as we worked together.

Hey Grandma Judy, I just wanted to say that we all appreciate how much you did to make Pa as comfortable and as he could be for his last days on earth. You always said such sweet endearing things about him when we would talk. You never complained about what you had to go through (which I know was very hard). Thank you for loving him so much. Wish we had more time with him, but we are relieved to know he is not in pain anymore. We will miss his funny little sayings and his goofy ways. He always brought life to the room. That is a quality that not many have. We all have great memories of you both to keep his spirit alive, and everyone of them will make you laugh. We love you very much. Love, Tony, Valerie, Anthony, and Vincent

Hello Judith, What a shock it was to read of Bill's passing in the Asheville newspaper. I have wondered from time to time where you all have moved to? Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your family for your loss. It is always hard to lose those you are close to. I think of you more than you might think, especially when I go to my old office that my son John now occupies and I look over to the office you used to be. They gave me the office where Mr..Schwarzkopf used to use. I think of your smiling face and your wonderful pleasant attitude and how much help you were to me. Except for losing Bill, I hope you are doing well. All the best, Bob Webb

Hey Judy and Family! It was a shock to see that Bill has graduated on to Heaven but what sweet memories we have of you and Bill while you were at Trinity in Asheville. Bill was always so friendly and you had to stay on your toes to make sure he didn't pull a joke on you. In September Momma (Dottie Sluder) passed away and while we were at West Funeral Home Danny and I were talking about Bill working there and him holding the door and greeting everybody as they came thru when Momma's Mother passed away in 2003. We all have sweet memories of you and Bill and we still miss both of you. Just wanted to let you know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers and will be remembering you during Thanksgiving and Christmas because as we all will have a tough time without our loved ones with us. But wow what a Christmas Bill, Momma, Grandnana (Miss Ruby), Poppy & Nana Sexton will be having. We Love You! Sheila and Danny Bell Mary Ann Gardner, Savannah Holland (our little red headed girl) Mary Jane Creasman and Rick Sluder (my Brother).
