Obituary of Kathryn M. Miller

Kathryn M. Miller, 84, of Brethren Village, Lancaster, PA, formerly of the Elizabethtown area, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Brethren Village. Born in Rapho Twp., Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon S. and Mariah S. Shenk Ginder. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Miller who died August 13, 2010. Kathryn was a member of Chiques Church of the Brethren in Manheim, PA where she served with her husband in the ministry of a deacon. In addition to being a homemaker, she was employed part-time for 23 years by Kinsey's Archery Products in Elizabethtown. Kathryn volunteered at Brethren Village by working in the Thrift Shop. She enjoyed spending time with her family at Pine View Hunting Camp in Potter County. She is survived by three children, John G., husband of Sharon K. Miller, of Bethel, PA, James G., husband of Carol J. Bowman Miller, of Palmyra, PA, and Joyce G., wife of Melvin L. Zimmerman, of Manheim, PA; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Ruth Kathryn "Ruthie" Dimitris: and two siblings, Ardella S. Way and Carl F. Ginder. Family and guests are invited to attend a funeral service at Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, PA 17545 on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Guests may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. The family requests that flowers please be omitted.
