Dear Sweet Graef Family, As I write this message I miss you all so very much and am feeling your great loss of your Dad, Grandfather, husband and friend. Mike was such a great brother and he always teased me so much and made me laugh. I used to polish his shoes for a nickel and think I was rich. Five cents bought a lot of candy down at the Troutman's grocery store. I really missed him when he moved to the farm and so did our family. All of you kids have such lovely personallities and smiles to remind each other of dear ole Dad.If any of you ever come to Crystal River, Fl. please stop by and we will have fun. We still like to play cards here.Lately we have been playing 10 point Pitch. So far everyone still has a job,Thank you Lord. I'm still struggling with the death of my own husband. Lots of work now with lawyers, trying to decipher these trusts. I wouldn't wish this job on anyone. I will be going back to work in July. Take care and God b less all of you. Aunt Janet and Family

We were sorry to hear about the loss of Mike he was a great friend and neighbor. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of life. We were so lucky to have meet Mike when we moved on 82nd street he was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved Christoper and Matthew just like they were his own grandkids. I am so glad that we able to spend time with Mike before he moved to PA. I will always remember the fun times we had going back and forth over the football games!!! Treasure the memories you had with your dad, because he was a treasure to everyone and was loved very much. Rick, Jackie, Christopher and Matthew Hicks

There are so many memories that I hold in my heart. When I try to think of all of them, they seem to overflow into tears. I remember Grandpa's house in Kenosha, most of all I remember his windchimes. I am so grateful to be able to have his windchimes now playing beautiful music at my house. I remember his love of Schwan's ice cream, his Yuban coffee, and a supply of A&W cream soda. I remember my pink banana seat bike and all the other bikes that he kept in his garage to fix and let kids ride. I remember playing croquet in the back yard. I remember his love of music and what a great collection of country he had. I remember him tinkering in the garage, always working on something. I remember all the kids thinking the "can crusher" was so cool. I remember taking my older son, Tyler, to meet his great grandfather for the first time when he was only a few weeks old. Tears of joy came from Grandpa when holding his first great grandson. I remember his tenderheartedness, his strong work ethic, his immaculate yard, and who could forget his huge Packer banner. I don't ever remember him saying "maybe later" when asked to do something. He lived and he loved, but most importantly, he made me feel loved. I miss him and will think of him everytime I hear his chimes playing in the wind.
