Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of Shorty Long. He was the nicest guy! I used to see him at the Bainbridge Legion and he was always a pleasure to talk with. I met Shorty back in 1989 when I graduated from the Vo-Tech school with a certificate in drafting and CADD. My very first job was a temporary position at U. S. Aluminum in Marietta. Shorty was the person I was sent to work for. When he realized that I understood the equipment he was altering, he was so pleased. From then on, he told everyone how much help I had been to him, which I thought was very sweet. I'll really miss him.
