I am so sad and surprised to learn of Miriam’s passing. She came to my apartment door when I first moved to Etown in early 1980’s. I have seen her almost every other week since then. She had become much more than my “Avon Lady”. She has been my friend. We share family stories, coffee and even ice cream this past summer. For a while now, I have been visiting her at her cottage when she could not drive. And when she did drive I would go out to her car and we would chat and catch up. I loved your Mother and will miss her dearly! She was the one person I could count on seeing every 2 weeks. What a wonderful, kind woman she was. She had a great sense of humor and was one feisty gal!! My love, prayers and sympathy go out to you all. I do know somewhat how you are feeling with the holidays coming. My Mom died on the day exact same day 39 years ago. May God comfort you. Lindy Rodgers
