Sonja was a spiritual David in my eyes, on the front lines battling Satan, setting clients free from his strongholds in her work as a counselor and Minister of the Gospel. She and her mother were the first to invite me to share in their safe house ministry as an intercessor. I am braver today because of her courage. My faith grew because of Donna's faith. I will always treasure our times playing board games at her home on High Street, sharing lunch at Folklore, and visiting on the phone. The world is a better place because Sonja Martin was born of the water and the Spirit!
