Drennan, Jr. and Joan Ann Kennedy Drennan.  He was the loving husband of Brenda S. Keener Drennan for 16 years on August 28.

A devoted Catholic, Jack was a member of St. Peter Catholic Parish in Elizabethtown where he was also a 2nd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 15028.  Prior to relocating to Elizabethtown, he loved the time he lived in New Cumberland where his passion for politics was expressed as a borough councilman from 2002-06.  He was also a member of the Cumberland County Christian Coalition.

Jack earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Messiah College.  He was last employed by Patterson Logistics in Mount Joy.  In addition to reading and learning languages, Jack loved the sports teams of Boston.  He held season tickets to New England Patriot football games for many years.  His interest in sports was demonstrated in his correspondence with professional athletes across the country.

In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his stepmother, Mary Vita Drennan of Mechanicsburg; three sisters, Joann Phillips of Ellicott City, MD, Mary, wife of Ted Drabik, of Hershey, and Patricia, wife of Bryan Anthony, of Mechanicsburg; two step-brothers, Frank, husband of Andrea Durkin, of Arlington, VA, and Christian Durkin of Mechanicsburg; and 12 nieces and three nephews who were very important in Jack’s life.

The Drennan family wishes to express appreciation to those who provided care for Jack, especially the staff at Spring Creek M4 and Harrisburg Hospital 10 North.
