Condolences to the family. Nelson was a true man of God who influenced many people with his simple faith. He knew Jesus, what more can I say? I'm thankful for the many ways he influenced my life through his work at Kraybill Mennonite School and in the community. It was a joy and pleasure to know him and the family, and I look forward to catching up in heaven.
I pray the family will experience the wonderful peace of God during this difficult time.

Dear Connie and family, What can we say? God has given Nelson much to share with many~he was faithful in communicating the love of Jesus to so many. . .Nelson wasn't afraid "to go out on a limb because that's where 'the fruit' was . . .and for ourselves we felt privileged to sit under his well prepared sermons and recieve spiritual nourishment that gave guidance in our journey thru life. . .his last sermon before his retirement as Pastor at Goods Church was titled "No LONGER STRANGERS" And I remember how you and I stood outside the church talking about that~and now with your loving husband gone, we pray you will not feel like a stranger~we know your children and others will help you~but even so there will be "many adjustments. . .remember that "Hope is putting faith to work when doubting would be easier." ~we pray you can look backward with gratitude and forward with confidence. Love and prayers, Christy & Arlene 10~3~21

Nelson, What a example of a godly man you changed our lives in more ways than you can ever know. You are going to be missed by so many. But I know you are home now. You fought a long fight and now may rest knowing your work is done here on earth. Eternal love from Bjay and Betty Trout

Nelson was such a great man with an amazing family. He could always spark a Conversation with anybody around him. You could be a complete stranger and an hour later you could still be talking to him. Praying for all his family and friends as they continue to remember the true spirit of Nelson.
