I was saddened to hear of the passing of Bruce. I attended Berean Bible School and Pinebrook Jr. college with Bruce and had the privilege of playing my Trombone with Bruce in the brass ensemble at Berean, with the Youth For Christ singers directed by John Blake and his wife Ann, and on his first record recording. We had such great times together even though it has been many years ago. Those are times I will always cherish. I remember the times at Berean when we would gather at the top of the steps of the lunch room with our instruments and play a jazzed up version of a hymn before we all went in to eat lunch. What a musician Bruce was, and what a blessing he was with all those the Lord allowed him to come in contact with. He will be greatly missed but oh, how he is rejoicing.. being in the presence of his creator, the Lord Jesus.

There is no way to begin to summarize who Bruce was to me and my family. Way back when my husband John met Bruce at Victory Valley Camp, they formed a bond of Christian love which enriched all the sweet ministry that we all shared. It carried through the gospel team for Berean Bible School, the Lehigh Valley Youth for Christ, the years with New Dawn Singers, Word of Life Hungary, countless tours and concerts, not to mention the sweet fellowship down through the years. Mere words cannot capture it, nor can they describe the devastating hole this leaves in our hearts. Bruce lived a life filled with love, ministry outreaches and opportunities, talents beyond adequate credit, and we will now have to wait till Glory to feel that bond again.

We were stunned to hear of Bruce's passing. Our prayers are with you. We have so many great memories of times together with you and your family, especially at Pinebook. It was our joy to serve and fellowship with you over the years. It is a time like this that our faith and hope become real. May God grant you the strength, wisdom, comfort and peace that you need.
