Obituary of Kristie S. Cliff

Kristie Suzanne (Austin) Cliff, 47, of Lancaster, PA, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family and friends on Saturday morning, July 22, 2023, at her residence. Born in South Bend, Indiana, she was the daughter of William L. Austin and the late Karen R. Fritz. She was the loving wife to Garrett A. Cliff for over 26 years.

Kristie attended church and school with her brother Ryan at Grace Community Church in Grainger, Indiana. After high school, Kristie went to Maranatha University where she received her Associates Degree in Accounting. It was here she met and married her husband, Garrett Cliff.  Kristie and Garrett made their home in the Midwest as she began a career in accounting and home making. She adored her two children. Son, Austin, was born on June 13, 2007, and daughter, Emma, was born June 12, 2004. 

Kristie loved spending time with her husband, kids, good friends, and fur baby, Fozzie. She enjoyed new experiences and adventures reaching up and down the east coast and even abroad but always recharged at home with family. She was wise with money, loved the beach, kept her house very organized and clean, and loved to work out and eat healthy. She was a runner, a loyal employee, and all about family and close friends. Kristie served and cared for others in so many ways and her impact will be greatly missed. Kristie was at peace and secure in the fact that when she died, she would instantly be with Jesus, her Savior, in Heaven. Kristie loved the Lord. 

Kristie is survived by her two loving children, Emma S. Cliff, and Austin H. Cliff, of Lancaster; One Brother, Ryan P. Austin, of South Bend, Indiana; Mother-in-Law, Sue (Cliff) Wermund, wife of Lyle, of Wisconsin; four Brother and Sister in-laws, Rachel, Jason, Becky, and Katie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service for Kristie will be held on Saturday August 12^th, 2023, at 1:00 PM with a casual gathering after the service with refreshments. If you are unable to attend the service on the 12th or would like to give your condolences to the family, there will be a casual mixer with light refreshments on Friday August 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Both events will be held at Mission Church, 651 Lampeter Road, Lancaster, PA 17602. Here is a livestream link for those unable to attend Kristie's celebration of life: https://mission-church.com/kristie-cliff/
